Post a picture of your largest coyote. How much did it weigh and where was it shot (Manitoba,Saskatchewan etc...)?

Got 2 so far, one last fall and the other a couple days ago. Both are quite small but nice to get. Both taken in Alberta just north of Calgary.

Here's a little fella I found after a rainstorm on my farm. And no I didn't pick him up with thick leather gloves and put him in the front seat of my truck and take him home so the kids could play with him......that would be stupid.

He was "shot" with my Sony digicam and he weighed about 5 lbs. And he had sharp little needle teeth like a puppy......not that he tried to bite me or anything............

Very nice photo Huntingstuff and nice story to

Here's 257 WBY's big western coyote from a few years ago. The first picture is him trying to lift it up for the 300th time (in order for me to try and get a good picture). Notice the red face on 257 WBY and I like the look on his kids face as his Dad strains to lift it up.

Here's the real weight. It was a nice coyote with great fur.

Yoteboy,
Do you still have a picture of that big pile of dead coyotes from a few years back? It looks like Murder Incorporated.
This picture is of the first stand Yoteboy and I did together. The pair ran straight in, I popped the male then shot the female on her way out. The male weighed 52 pounds on my fish scale. Shot in Saskatchewan of course.

Dogleg here's your pic.To bad there's so much snow , it would reveal just how big a pile it really is.

Todd what are those shooting stick looking things you use?
I don't like bi-pods they make a rifle seem bulky and un-natural.
And prefer a sling

My favourite yote hunt was opening day this year for turkeys...
Within 15 minutes, Myself and devilsedge shot a yote, and two turkeys...
He was about 250yards down the field, and I picked up my Jack in distress, and he turned... the whole time I was cutting to a few birds just inside of the treeline... he snuck in along the tree edge, and jumped out not 15 yards from my partner who flattened him. we ran out, setup the dekes again (the yote died with one in his mouth) and out came the birds...
A good morning at BIGREDD's
43.7lbs
