So I have been making a point of trying to get out every week for at least a short coyote hunt, and I have found myself wondering about a few things. I am wondering if a few of the more experienced coyote hunters could chime in here and answer a few questions.
1. Is it worthwhile to be out calling or searching for coyotes in the afternoons, or is it really only worth it to go out for the couple hours of first and last light?
2. Do the little buggers "hide" or bed down during snowfall/snowstorms?
3. If I'm using my electronic call in an area where I know there are yotes (within 1-2km), how long should I sit in one spot without seeing anything?
I do believe that I am addicted to coyote hunting, so I am trying to at least become somewhat good at it, lol. This is probably my third or fourth time posting questions and there will probably be more;
but after all, I guess that's what this forum is for...
Thank you.
