Not considered a yote gun, but still killed em dead, a Marlin XL7 in 30-06
Caramel you mention 32gr grenades if you are refering to barnes varmint grenades i would be careful using them on yotes. I was not happy with them on gophers and have seen other reports of poor performance. Some don`t open up at all, just my .02 worth you may get better results from a swift.
no coyote pics. everything but.....lol. This is my calling gun and is a Savage 16flss, .223. for coyotes I use a 55 gn. vmax, 23.3 gn h322 @3000fps, moa all day long. for bigger vermin I use same powder, 53 gn tsx. Too many to count coyotes and the like taken with this set-up. For the price it works really good!

No Coyotes yet but the new target XLR chassis Savage in 223 with a Shilen Select Match 1-8 barrel installed by Northshorebarrels will do the trick! Hoping for some late night predator control in a few farm fields this winter. Want the first one to be around 280 yards at 2am Have a nice set of Komperdell adjustable shooting sticks that can be used too! Need to get a wicked pic of all of this set up this winter. Will be anywhere in NW Ont to all of southern Manitoba and eastern Sask to try this out.

That's a wild looking rig. What's the scope setup?
Thanks, its a Bushnell 6500 4.5-30x50Tactical and a PS22-CGTI Gen 2+ night vision scope. The night vision is only good to around 8x, after that is starts to get very pixalated (sp?). As long as I dial down the scope I should be fine for the sub 300 yards stuff. Longest I've gone with this rifle is 871yards with 77gr smk's. Wont be hunting at that distance!

Don't need the fancy chassis to set one in front of your coyote rig if you get a section of rail (12") and some rings to attach to your day scope. See pics of my 308 with the side rail setup. Bulky but its an option. The NV is a QD set up so you can just attach it to a regular rifle. Need 1.6" from the rail to the center of the NV sight. I used 1.1" rings and a 1/2" spacer. QD rings would be sweet as you could then take the rail off during regular use. It is a lot of weight for your scope mount so make sure you don't cheap out on that.

Last year I had a custom 20 tactical built and was very happy with it. I have been running 39 grain Blitz Kings with good results, longest one I have taken with it was 374 yards. I just picked up a Cooper 6.5x284 and have been working up a load for it, I am going to try the 123 grain Lapua Scenars and see how they work.
