No Coyotes yet but the new target XLR chassis Savage in 223 with a Shilen Select Match 1-8 barrel installed by Northshorebarrels will do the trick! Hoping for some late night predator control in a few farm fields this winter. Want the first one to be around 280 yards at 2amHave a nice set of Komperdell adjustable shooting sticks that can be used too! Need to get a wicked pic of all of this set up this winter. Will be anywhere in NW Ont to all of southern Manitoba and eastern Sask to try this out.

Threw a stick at a yote this morning. The sumbich would not leave us as we were trying to work. The little airhorn did nothing to scare him away.

My favorite walk around cyote gun is a Rem 600 in 222. Other then that, too many choices. 17 Rem, 204 Ruger, 222 Rem, 223, 223 AI, 222 Rem Mag, 22 BR, 22 PPC, 22-250, 22-250 AI, 22 CHeetah, 22-243 Middlestead. And that's just the 22's. My LR coyote gun is a 240 Gibbs built on a Win 70 in an HS Precision stock, Smith fluted stainless gain twist barrel. Reaches out there for the ones that are running away. - dan
