Coyote rigs!!!!!!!

Theres too much snow here for me to want to head out.
I'd die if I had to walk the 100yrds to fetch a yote in knee high snow.

Snow is real deep but I've gotten out haven't seen anything though they all seem to be active late at night.

In my experiences the coyotes won't move or get out in the open if there's lots of snow, it puts them in a vonerable position where they don't feel safe.

noob question on yote huntin

I have a noob question
what do you do with all the yotes ,,,
does someone buy these things for something ?
just wondered not like other things one shoots then eats

A lot of us shoot coyotes to keep them away from our farm animals.

stevens 200 .223 bushnell 6x18 , basix trigger, generic bipod and krylon paint job.
sub moa with 55 to 69 grain ammo using varget.

Set this up today. Savage 10FCP-K .223, Bushnell Tactical mildot 6-24x50mm,
Burris Zees, Picatinney base, Harris Bipod.

Haven't shot it yet(tomorrow maybe). It is going to give my Savage .243 a vacation.

That rifle has a 19.5 inch barrel and is a 7mm-08

I shot another coyote and hit him just little too far back....the off side hole was about the size of a milk jug ...

This is my Remington 700 .243

The idea was to have a Long Range coyote gun that would work as a long range target shooter as well.

Only shot paper since January...haven't seen a coyote yet!
