It's correct; I have the 4-16x50 and have 44 MOA of full elevation. That's how S&B is: it offers two wariants for most models, one in 0.1 mils (sometimes marked as cm @ 100m) that have a shorter elevation range, and the standard ¼MOA one with a greater range. As for why they do this - beats the hell out of me.
 
The action is a work of art....I love the maple leaf. Now if it would only warm up outside so that I could put him to the test at long range.

Without being facetious, what's so special about these PGW rifles aside from being adopted by the CF (and being Canadian :D)? How do they compare to an AI AW? Or a Sako TRG?

I agree , the action IT A WORK OF ART, The NF scope look very nice on it, more than adequate.

I don't know anybody that is using the 1/4 MOA clicks in the 5-25 series (reticles are generally in Mils so it doesn't make any sense to get MOA turrets) so Mil/Mil S&B is almost the same as the Nightforce NXS 5-22 Series (100 MOA).

Yes, this will get you to 1000 yards (past 2000 yards if you have the right base/calibre).
 
Here's a 25 shot group at 100 yards with 155gr scenars. The rifle is nice and heavy (close to 17 lbs with optics and an empty mag) but is really well balanced and carries nicely. The muzzle brake is loud but now that I've shot a 308 with one I'd definitely consider another one on a 308. Virtually no muzzle jump allows me to get back onto target almost immediately. If you didn't blink your eye's you'd probably be able to see the bullet impact at 100 yards. Overall I'm quite happy with the rilfe and the service with Ross at PGW. With a 25 shot .334" group at 100 yards and without doing any load development thus far I guess it's safe to say that I got what I paid for. Now I just have to tweak this load and move on to the 175 SMK's.

Ya....25. I was going to keep going but figured it was a waste of time and ammo watching them all go into the same hole. I'm going to try this at 300 yards next time.
 
ARGH!, I keep telling myself I need to finish my Toyota FJ40 over and over again to stop myself from buying one of these.. and the girlfriend would probably literally kill me.
