This maybe some interest to some here. When I find something that works and it worth the money I like to tell people about it. This would work for both Coyotes and even turkey too. I've had major back surgery years back and can not sit with out any back support. My area the farmers are taking out the fence rows and such where I used to sit against to call. One day while working in Bass pro I seen this seat and tried it in the store and then bought one. This seat is amazing. If you are yoting and find you have to sit low to allow your bipod to work proper then this will work because its like sitting on the ground with great back support. I can sit for an hour No problem. The Bass Pro stadium seat. O ya This was yesterday at a young fellows hunting spot and he wanted to learn how to hunt Coyotes. He got to see 2 charge the call at 25 minutes in, but he missed his which happens.

Good story and good work. Thanks for sharing. It's always good to see another dog down. And more importantly it's always good to see someone taking the time to get another young guy out there.

As for the young fella's missed shot, don't let it deter him. Make sure he knows that it still happens to the best of us the odd time. A couple days before New Year I blew a 340 yard shot on a beautiful dog. It was -23, the wind was blowing, my fingers were numb and I was starting to shiver. I've made plenty of successful shots like this before but this one didn't connect. It can happen to anyone. I hope the young feller brushes it off, practices with his rifle a lit more and then gets right back out there to give it another try.

Thanks for the info on the chair. I have been using the folding plastic step stools which I buy from CTC when they are sale and a padded hunter seat. With two knees needing replacement I have a hard time in the snow depths getting up and down. I sure like the looks of your chair in that it looks well built and sturdy.

And congrats on the coyote and great to see a young hunter being mentored (and we all miss shots....)

Seat looks good. I got a similar seat from Cabela’s, predator hunting chair I think it was called. Kinda like a beach chair but in winter camo, It works alright as well. I’d rather a haybale any day but they aren’t always around. Good job on the tricksters!

Anyone else noticed mouth calls being more effective lately? It seems like they are on to the electronic calls. Or my tinfoil is on too tight. But the last few have been with mouth calls after a bit of a drought with the ol foxpro.

Sure everybody and their uncle are running around with a FoxPro or such. Have to get a good hour away from any metropolitan areas I find...and earlier in the winter seems for me to be more effective.
