I'm for Lewis as she is the only chance to get people who don't normally vote conservative on board. In addition; it would be great to label Justin as the rich entitled white guy who is racist and ###ist if he can't accept a minority female as PM of Canada.

This is my thinking as Trudeau sucks at debates. He gets very emotional and excited. Someone with her background and education would excel in this type of situation. I would love to see her speak first tho. The people that vote Conservative are going to vote Conservative. What we need is all the middle of the road/ middle left folks to vote for her.

She’s more qualified no doubt. But at least he was an MP when he was made leader.

Remember- if she wins she can’t even step foot in the House of Commons. Another MP would have to give up their seat. It’s a bad look and does not make her look ready to lead the country through these times.

P.M. Turdo came in with ZERO experience, couldn't string four words together without inserting "ah", "eh" or "doh" and people flocked to him because of his f###### hair!!
I was leaning towards McKay, only because he can express a complete and cognitive thought, however I like what I'm hearing about this Lewis lady. Intelligent, conservative values and I think the gender and minority will help, not hinder her chances. Remember, she is going up against one of the most blantently stupid politicians that I have seen in half a century.

With regards to the abortion thing, remember that Trudeau himself is opposed to abortion (https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/trudeau-abortion-personal-beliefs-1.5308987) but thinks women are allowed to choose. If she runs on that platform I think she'd be a winner.

Agreed on all counts. And, frankly, I think JT would be afraid of sparring with her because he wouldn't want to come off bulling a woman/person of colour, and she's both!

I hope she asks him which part of confiscating guns from thousands of women is the "feminist" part.
 
We need to see how she, and the other candidates, fare first. This campaigning by email stuff is for the birds (although Lewis does actually respond when you ask and her views are ok with me)...

In addition to this, Leslyn will beat the opposition and media "whores" with her calm diplomatic mind and super intelligence, she will play with all opposition like someone who beats idiots with their own stupidity. Leslyn is black female, a true conservative to that, not experienced spoiled fat chair politician with lots of "experience". We want a fresh normal folks kind of person to win hearts of many liberals without appeasing them.

With Leslyn, CPC would become truly invincible, hopefully our fellas members of CPC could look further than just a few feet in front of them, and cast their vote for Leslyn. We all win if she gets elected!
 
Just joined today. It's the first time ever I register as a political party member. I think the events of the last few days will drive more law-abiding gun owners to become politically involved.

Same. Last year was my first time voting CPC.

Then again I'm a middle-aged straight white man so it's kind of expected of me :D

Derek Sloan, too young, too much against abortions and LGBT community but pro guns.
O'Tool too far and extreme right, love it as a conservative, but it will be bad choice in terms of getting more people on board.
Leslyn, YES, pro gun, pro freedom, doesn't bash LGBT community, very smart and educated, and on top of all, she cannot be "pounded on" by media and fake news because she is black, no better candidate suited to lead our country.
So my vote, and my family's votes will go to Leslyn, I hope many people here realize that Leslyn is our only true hope.
She absolutely repeatedly promised a full and fair firearm laws revision, and to fix Turdo's dictatorship OIC as soon as she has the power to do so.

Was looking for some guidance, being a CPC member for 2 years now, and was divided between Sloan ( my preferred candidate actually ), and o’toll. Sloan will never get elected as an PM unfortunately, too many leftist bleeding hearts un this country that are not ready to listen to the truth. O’tool like some people said, he represents the good old white boy from the west.....her however ? That’s a game changer. Will vote for her.
 
I've been on the fence for awhile. Having the same old Fudds will get us nowhere.
Rempel I like and she could hold the west, but Lewis could win Toronto. Right now, Ford's gaining popularity again. If we expect to win you need Toronto in a big way.
