CPC Leadership

Yes, MacKay is holding his gun views out of anything too extreme so as to attract more liberals to jump, but has mentioned many times that he would reverse any laws the libs put in, and he leans pro choice, any modern party will not get in power without being pro choice. MacKay will win and will reverse the OIC and other bills!

He's a chameleon, sorry, do not trust this guy!.....:(

For all of you who keep going on about Lewis' stance on abortion, you need to listen to what her actual stance is. Yes, she is personally pro-life, however she has been very, very clear about what she would like to do - and it isn't "ban abortion".

Let's hope the media don't spin the bull#### pile like some of you have.

While it may not seem like it or seem out of place, but "generation z" is actually more conservative then any generation since world war 2.Things are moving that direction ,now its not an overnight thing but its still moving. Hell Forbes even did a write up about it

I sure as hell hope so! Otherwise this whole damn country is kaput and all the sacrifices of our veterans and all who perished in 2 world wars were for utterly nothing. We promised them we wouldn't forget. We told them we would hold the line. They pleaded with us to never allow our nation to fall to tyranny..... and 2020 is proving to be quite tyrannical already!

Remember folks you can vote for a true blue conservative who will be the leader of the opposition OR you can elect someone who can win some urban votes and become PM.
Canada has never elected a woman nor a visible minority. One day I hope - but let’s not test the waters this time please? We don’t have 4yrs to wait after the next one for another shot at this.

Not with THAT attitude. Get on the damn train!

I'm dreaming of a CPC government that reverses the gun ban OIC and issues an abortion ban OIC. Not because I really want to ban abortions, but because I want the leftists to feel the outrage and helplessness that we feel, and so I can ask them how they like them apples.

Wouldn't work but just for the spite? Just to give them a taste of their own medicine? Oh God it would be pure gold! Remember that screaming b*tch in the neon green sweater screaming when Trump got sworn in and the tantrum she threw? Yeah. That's the first thought that comes to mind Laugh2

What’s wrong with truly being right wing and conservative? I’m noticing a lot of comments here are against being ideologically conservative. I personally think the problem in Canada is that the right has shifted too far to the left. There are barely any ideologies and principles that make the CPC truly conservative. If we become pro-abortion and allow the LGBT123 movement have their way, we’ll be back to square one with a clown of a PM because we didn’t have enough of a backbone to say no. The left don’t hide their ideologies, they’re pushing them into schools to convert our children. What difference is there between their principles and ours? Where do we draw the line?

A solid foundation of principles is needed to foster our country to accept our right to bear arms. Be it for sport, hunting, and what should be a fundamental human right: self-defence. I can only hope that whoever takes the helm of the CPC doesn’t sweep the touchy subjects under the carpet, or promise change now and lie about it later. This isn’t just about firearms, it’s about not compromising on morals and principles, these are the foundations of our beliefs for a better Canada for us and our loved ones.

Just my two cents.

Damn right. There's conservative and then there's *ahem* "Conservative". Cough cough. The CPC are the ONLY main party that are even remotely friendly to the cause but they are almost left of center, now. I know many within still hold true to the tried and tested, reliable ways but far too many are drifting further and further left.

P.M. Turdo came in with ZERO experience, couldn't string four words together without inserting "ah", "eh" or "doh" and people flocked to him because of his f###### hair!!
I was leaning towards McKay, only because he can express a complete and cognitive thought, however I like what I'm hearing about this Lewis lady. Intelligent, conservative values and I think the gender and minority will help, not hinder her chances. Remember, she is going up against one of the most blantently stupid politicians that I have seen in half a century.

I still vomit at the thought of all the ladies fawning over him incessantly like he was Justin Bieber. And people seriously have the f***in' nerve to ask me why I cant find a date? Laugh2

I've been on the fence for awhile. Having the same old Fudds will get us nowhere.
Rempel I like and she could hold the west, but Lewis could win Toronto. Right now, Ford's gaining popularity again. If we expect to win you need Toronto in a big way.

I like Rempel. She actually got pretty salty and called Führer Trudeau what he really is! A ruthless dictator. That said? She threw her support behind Lewis.

Trump was a household name and celebrity. Lewis is neither.

Not with that attitude!

If you're interested in Dr. Leslyn Lewis, take a look here:

During the last election, Trudeau won with a small geographical area with a high seat count. I think this candidate could speak to that constituency.

Or, maybe I'm just desperate enough to go with the long shot?

Thanks for that link. Very good info. I got to say i could find nothing she said to disagree with. And its been a long time since i could say that about any politician.

Who has the best chance to get a majority? The conservatives need to leave their archaic ways in the past. Support the LGBTQ, dont bring up abortion and they need to buy into the climate bull#### even if its a face. We want ### married couples to be able to protect their marijuana plants with guns

That sounds COMPLETELY retarded.

But you are 100% correct.

Signed for the CPC vote once I learned more about O’Toole. I like Lewis and would be happy with either, but he’s more confident in front of a camera and that can make a difference.

Lewis for sure. Not even close.

Everyone else is some version of a white guy who can't be as woke as Trudeau. We need new people to support the Conservatives - people who have never voted Conservative before. The optics of Trudeau trying to undermine her with his usual wokey-mansplaining would be worth the price of admission alone.

Sign up to volunteer for her campaign. Get the word out.

Respectfully, look into her , she would destroy Trudeau at all levels .

Pete McKay is just going to have a similar result to Scheer in my opinion. Just my opinion of course but she really does seem like the real deal and is very responsive to emails.

Honestly I think Lewis is a mistake unless she gets a little more progressive. She is not going to do well with womens rights or the LGBT voters, just because she’s a person of color from Toronto dose not make her a silver bullet. She leans too far to the right to be palatable to soy boy pussies. O’tool is most like minded with my personal views but I agree he is in a demographic that for what ever reason people hate on these days, Peter MacKay May be a bit of a cuck but at this point he’s most likely to win a federal election.

Leslyn Lewis is the weapon of liberals/communists mass destruction.
Her alleged inexperience in politics actually doesn't work against her, quite contrary, people are sick tired of lying politicians (with great experience in politics). She has a great deal of experience where it really matters, with people! She can argue in such intelligent manner that her opposition can only run home and cry to mommy for being embarrassed beyond sorrow...
Leslyn is a real game changer and our last hope in this lifetime. Embrace this notion and endorse her with all your might, our very freedom (or what's left of it) may depend on it. Liberals are scared of her beyond comprehension and will employ a whole army of internet trolls to try divert our attention and vote for anyone else but her.

I've been an O'Toole Supporter since before the last leader was chosen. But I have lately been leaning a little towards voting for Lewis. This change is partly because she is more genuine (IMHO). I also like how concisely she speaks. Its hard to disagree with her. O'Toole has the best of intentions. But he talks a lot and wanders from what his message should be sometimes. His heart certainly is in the right place though. Either one would be a good choice.

I haven't liked Peter McKay for as long as I can remember.

The fact that she is not a career politician is her greatest asset. She needs to play up the common person angle. People are jaded with the career politicians. No one knew who Scheer was either, but he was so wishy washy, he quickly lost his advantage. He fizzled. O'tool might have won elections, but some of the back benchers get more T.V. time than him. He has done nothing. Another nice guy dud. So, yes we need to stand on the precipice, and take the plunge. Roll the dice and try something new. We cannot get any worse than not being in power, but we might win, and regain power. It's worth the gamble. Turdo's light is starting to dim.
