Agreed, but when you live in the western part of the country, we all know and understand and vote accordingly. This message needs to go viral, as the kids say. Especially in the east.

It may well be that some folks on here are prejudiced against her. Thankfully it seems to be pretty rare.

One common criticism is that she's not a sitting MP. Well, neither is MacKay. I don't think she'll have any problem winning a seat if she wins the leadership race. She'll be front page news in Canada and around the world.
 
The MSM and CBC wont be able to tone this down, this will be a major rumble on the politic scene.

I havent seen anything prejudiced against her on CGN. The only negative brought up is her lack of political experience, which is perhaps what we need. We dont need another lame duck Andrew Scheer clone.
Trump never held office either. Its time for Canadians to grow a set and leave establishment parasites behind.

I have no prejudice against her. I just worry her views are not sufficiently mainstream to lead a party to victory in a national election.

Now, he changed his stand on firearms and supports gun owners to some extent, but obviously not enough to accept an interview with NFA on youtube.
MacKay is the only candidate who rejected such interview.

He writes great letters, promises to reverse the OIC and all but with little essence and sounding truth.
Liberals want him desperately to be elected and that tells you something. They can handle him and will destroy him in all public debates, just like they destroyed Scheer.

3. Sloan, great young guy with great vision and enthusiasm, very religious, and very anti-abortion regardless of the scenario that different women have when deciding to abort.
Will be eaten up, chewed up and spilled out by relentless Trudeau’s media…

Awesome guy thou, good lawyer, stands for firearms owners, media talks about him often and Liberals would be celebrating 10 nights straight if Sloan got elected knowing that nothing stands in their path towards total rulership, control and immense power to do what they please in decades to come.

4. Lewis, 3 degrees, successful business woman (bad news for LPC), a lawyer, immigrant from Jamaica, black (extremely bad news for LPC), woman (extremely bad news for LPC), insanely quick on her feet when confronted by media, degree in environmental sciences (VERY bad news for LPC).
Liberals’ worst fear lies in Leslyn Lewis, she is so dangerous for their party that they tremble in fear, literally!!
When liberals sent out their accusing letters against CPC candidates, they completely omitted Leslyn out of their bashing as if she doesn’t exist! They don’t want her mentioned, they don’t want her in media and they sure don’t want people becoming more aware of her.
About firearms, some trolls already attacked her by saying she is against private gun ownership in Canada! This is entirely untrue. Leslyn repeatedly stated that she supports private gun owners and has accepted a full and open interview with NFA on youtube.
Liberal trolls are being released by the hundreds to flood internet against Leslyn, it is so obvious. Sleeping liberals cells who have been inactive for years suddenly reveal themselves to bash on Lewis by false accusations against her hoping to divert votes from her.
Some will say she is absolute anti-abortion proponent!! This is another lie promoted by trolls! She only opposes gender based abortions, like when couples choose to kill their baby because of its gender. Otherwise, she doesn’t oppose abortions in other type of scenarios.
Media is helpless against Lewis!! Liberals can’t bash on her on racist card! They can’t bash on a black woman!! Heck, they can’t even use “climate change” card on her since she holds masters degree in environmental sciences!!

I personally am likely going to vote for O'Toole, One thing I will say though is being from Newfoundland this place is hard core red (along with most of the Atlantic Region), unfortunately its not because people agree with the platforms its because they have always voted red just like their parents did before them (Don't get me started on how insane that is but here we are). Sheer only stopped here during his election campaign for 15 minutes and didn't leave the Tarmac as far as I know, say what you want about time management but the optics of that still sucks. I get that the East Coast is a pretty small portion of the electorate but at this point anything that can be pulled form the reds will help, I will say on that front Peter Mackay is from Nova Scotia, is a well known household name here and its for the most part fairly well respected, if anyone can pull some Atlantic Votes to the CPC its likely him. Not sure I really trust him when it comes to Firearms though, I'm much more inclined to believe O'Toole who has supported this vehemently since the start. Just my thoughts.

That’s it! I’m buying a membership. She’s getting my vote. I agree completely, O’Toole and Mackay are exactly who the liberals want. And that is not washing well with me at all. She’s a powerhouse… She deserves the job. And the fact that the media is forever mentioning O’Toole and Mackay but is not talking about her at all, considering she is everything that the liberals wave in their flags of virtue signalling except… She’s not a liberal. This is all to telling. I am going to vote for this woman for more reasons than just my gun rights that’s for sure.

The LPC media will see through the ploy and call it out. I'd be surprised if they didn't.

This is perfectly correct.

We all need to spread a true good word about her, a good word that she deserves. Just expect hateful responses from liberal trolls here, their fake complaints to the mods here, and some infraction points (under “Notices”) for yourself like I just got...LOL
