CQ311 Issue

The notched hammer on my CQ311 does not work with my CMMG ARC 22 AR conversion. Very light strikes, no ignition at all. Replacing the hammer will most likey cause 223 issues and I don't want to have to change hammers every time I change over.

What are my options?

There shouldn't be a problem with changing the hammer and just leaving it. It shouldn't cause other problems. Light strikes could be the spring not the hammer.

A full face DPMS hammer purchased from Questar solved the problem. The Norc hammer spring was a little odd, so I replaced that as well. The CMMG conversion ran flawlessly and appears to be quite accurated to boot.
