And yes, that is the mandate of the ORA, to support the soldiers and their efforts to train on marksmanship skills. It's all good! Very few other disciplines witness civvies and soldiers shooting side by side (if ever). This is one of them.

Nice to see that the match was a roaring success even from all the way on the bottom of the world. I'm on the South Island of NZ today, Queenstown is a ski resort / recreation town like Whistler/Collingwood/ Tahoe.

I'll be home in time for the 5-6 Aug Service rifle match in Connaught. Looks to me like it's all booked up with entrants. Gonna be a busy one. Gotta hit the ground running when I fly in from Fiji, LAX, and finally to YYZ.

I'm going to try to get out to the Sept. match, its only a couple of days before I leave for the US Nationals but I've missed every one so far....
Now what to shoot, Open IPSC pistol to see how it does vs. rifles or my AR and Kimber.45....hmmmmm
