How many clubs in ON are running CQB matches?
How long has it been active in ON?
Any other locations besides ON and the recent BC one?

The Ontario Rifle Association is the originator and runs the majority of the matches which runs them out of CFB Borden. I believe they have been at it for 4-5 years. The was a match at a civilian range in Guelph this season that was not run by the ORA.
There have been CQB clinics in Kingston and Petawawa (I think, my memory is fuzzy on that one). No matches in those locations yet though.

To date there have not been CQB matches in any other province than BC and ON.

Not too sure if all of that is entirely correct, but the APRA did hold a few matches over a couple of years before they decided to dismantle their Service Conditions.
We looked to the 3 PPCLI Gunfighters course, IDPA & personal experience amongst other resources to draft up ours.
We had two courses of fire, one short range that was a copy of our pistol course of fire (and workable on a typical pistol bay) and one 'long' range for use on a 100m or longer rifle bay.
It is too bad we didn't have much time to tweek it much, but I believe the dynamics created with speed and the barricades gave a good challenge to those that were wired tight.
The hostage was a good way of providing penalty, and the No. 27 Fig. 14 is further enhancement of scoring for those that are shooting 5s and bulls with somewhat boring regularity.
Anyhow, these may provide some interest to guys still doing it or those that are thinking about starting it.

The CQB Clinic is also in Sask at Det Dundurn south of Saskatoon.

We held the first one this summer and the second will be running this coming summer. Once we have this going and there is enough interest I will be running matches in Sask hopefully. If it all the stars align and Barney keeps helping me out lol
