which is why i recomended the millet DMS-1 .. unless u love spending big bucks u dont need the IOR if ur only playing around with optics .. falcon is definately better quality than millet .. so go falcon IMHO
I also have this Falcon Menace 1.5-5x30 and it's a very good scope for the money. It's mecanically solid and the clicks are positive (not like cheap chinese knock-off scopes). It cost 3 to 4 times less than the IOR 1.1-4x26... but there are drawbacks: i) absence of built it bullet drop compensation for .223, ii) quality of the lens & prism. On this second issue, i found a weird phenomenon last weekend while hunting with the Falcon scope. I'm not sure if it's me or somekind of optical effect, but when that scope is set between 1.5x and 2.5x, things you look at do look "nearer", but they also look "smaller" (if compared to when you look at them directly by eye). The bonus of this bizarre effect is a large field of view. But it's a bit annoying. I don't remember seeing this effect with the IOR Valdada scope.
