Once upon a time, I sold many things on the internet and occationally I found that people would do tricks to steal goods; do tricks to cause the business financial harm (for whatever motivation); and, spread misinformation because they were encountering financial loss due to loss in their sales revenue.

So it looks like I will be buying the "GG&G AR-15/M16 Receiver End Plate Quick Detach Sling Mount" version, which will cost me (2x (38 - 25)) = $26 USD more :(

In the future, I may do a transaction with Botach Tactical to see for myself, what is what.

Too bad I forgot about propaganda, before acting on the comments left by vendors. On eBay and elsewhere, vendors often create additional accounts to make negative comments, etc. -- so I assume that the vendors are sincere and talking about their direct experiences with Botach Tactical, although the supporting details were not provided. I personally know Farmboy... and don't think he would ever intentionally bad mouth anyone.

Oh, I am so very happy. Botach Tactical had cancelled my order as per my email request and then reactivated per a subsequent email... all hassle free :D

Furthermore, I noticed a Customer Service Survey attached to the Order Cancellation Confirmation.

If I actually get the two, "KZ End Plate QD Swivel Attachments" for $50 + S&H... I am going to be one happy camper and understand why other vendors would see them as a threat to their business (Botach Tactical is like Chapter/Indigo to the local bookstore).

That said... with ITAR... I think our Canadian vendors have nothing to fear.

Dont have to take on board what i,m says,just ask anyone thats i nthe know, the 2 most hated companys in the biz are botach and todd bailey aka Toad baliey.

Botach till owes me 30 un issused 7 rd 1911 mags from 2003.

Sorry for chatting up a storm on the topic -- I pioneered Internet retailing, so it can sometimes get me chatting too much about such endeavours.

Just to finish off this thread.

1. Botach Tactical is not for me. While I was never billed for the item I ordered, I was also never told that they will not be shipping me the item. Yes, I had to acknowledge an ITAR disclaimer, but was never told that the item I ordered fell under ITAR :( I found out when I called GG&G -- GG&G told me that the QD Sling Mount falls under ITAR and that they could not ship it to me.

2. I could not identify someone in Canada with a QD Swivel End Plate and wanting to dispense with this issue, I bought what was available...

One Shot Tactical says they are working on bring in the Daniel Defense version, but they need to get an export license first.
