'Crack Marksmen' Canadas Aboriginal Snipers in WWI

Marksmanship and our youth. I was a CIC officer for 15 years. Our unit introduced hundreds of youth to target shooting as well numerous other skills. I am very proud of that service and what the Canadian Cadet Movement has accomplished over the years. Where we stand right now as to Marksmanship training. My son is a 10 yr veteran of the CAF. Last summer I started taking his 9 year old to our range for some strictly supervised 22LR target shooting. This year our club passed a bylaw stating youth could not be on our range without a parent or guardian present (Liability issues) . I would be permitted to take my grandson only if his father signed a release form which i would have to produce on request. I think for each visit.

Maybe a little off topic but these our some of the rights that we have lost over the years. I don't think our veterans of past service would be impressed with where we are are right now.

My anger and disappointment with Trudeau is only exceeded by that which I have for the people who freely voted twice for this instrument of our distress.:mad:
 
Hi philhut. Sorry to break the news but this is NOT Pegahmagabow's Ross sniper rifle. This is similar and it is an original Ross sniping
rifle set up at the factory in 1917 - the last batch set up. Pegahmagabows sniper rifle would have been cut back just forward of the lower
band and fitted with a Winchester A5 scope. The Royal Armouries rifle has been acquired after WW1 to represent a Pattern Arm. JOHN
