So I recently picked up my first pistol, a FEG 9mm(not the nice browning copy, the S&W hybrid) and I noticed this line in the chamber. I understand that some of these and the brownings have a two piece barrel but have been unable to find decent pictures to compare the two.
I'm wondering if this is normal or an accident waiting to happen.
The line, to me, seems a little too uniform to be a crack and the pistol doesn't show a massive amount of wear in areas that contact each other but I want to been 100% before I shoot it as you never know what kind of handloads a person has put through a second hand gun.
It just seems like a strange place for a join to be.
Does this seem normal for these models?
