Well, this sucks. I removed the action from the stock of my Norinco SKS to see if it had a pinned barrel today, which it does, and when I was separating the two it cracked right by the bolt thing that goes through both sides of the stock under the barrel. It is not cracked all the way though, only about 1/2 way. When the rifle is reassembled it holds everything together snugly. Can I use some strong glue on the crack to hold it together and still shoot it safely? I only ask this because I recently refinished the stock and don't really want to go back to the old style. I still can't believe it cracked because I wasn't being rough with it or anything. Thanks for any advice you can give, I feel like an idiot now.
