Cracked VZ-58 receiver

Thanks guys for all the input, I am going to go with it for the time being, and monitor it, just doesn't look like it's in a high stress area. Still would like to hear if anyone has had it happen though.

Thats the gap between the receiver and block thats added to prevent the nasty parts from being fitted...no issues there.

You know, if they were butted up against each other then ground over, it would make it look jagged like a crack. Never considered that.

What if it get loose enough, although highly unlikely through vibrations, that it falls out?
Would that change its classification?

I had a 58 that I bought from Milarm a few years back do the same thing, nothing to worry about.

Nope..

Most VZ's don't have that block welded in there Just the sear channel filled.
