Tired of Mickey-Mousing around trying to get grips for my 'N' frame S&W, I remembered that I have a set of great grips on a S&W 'K' frame made by Craig Spegel.
I won them years ago at a tri-state IPSC match in southern Washington. The maker himself presented them to me as "Top Revolver" shooter in the match.
I 'Googled' him and while he does have a web site showing his work, he doesn't offer an email address. He prefers to speak to his customers personally. His phone #: 1-(503) 368-5653
I'll be calling Craig fer shure! Check out his work and be prepared to be impressed. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for.
In the meantime, I've made a credible set of grips out of a pair of 'Mustang' grips that came with the gun. I enhanced the finger grooves, slimmed them down and finished them with a cheery toned 'MinWax' product.
Then I look at my Spegel grips and well, they just ain't in the same league.
