crap! where'd that spring go???

I took apart a friend's Parker Hale Safari last night, and managed to loose the mag release spring. I have a sinking feeling the puppy managed to gulp it down before he or I realised what had happened. Now what? I don't have any spare springs kicking around, and a ballpoint pen spring is just that much took big around. Anybody got a an idea where I can get another?

one time on ex in Germany, a few of us thought it would be a good idea to strip the c6, including trigger group and everything...
