I was in CT just now looking for Fed 525s. I noticed it was at the old price, 19.99 on the shelf sticker. I asked the clerk to check the price and it was 21.99. It seems there is a $10 discount per item if they are priced wrong. Unfortunately they only had two boxes left so I only scored one free box. Every little bit helps, eh?

I think it has something to do with pricing error accountability or some-such. If something is priced wrong under $10 it's supposedly free. I don't know who came up with that, but there was a thread on it a while back. Good luck having stores honour it, though.

I've gotten many items for free at Wal-Mart alone because of that policy! It depends on the store who has that policy. Wal-mart, CT, Zellers, Kmart, etc all have it.
Not all the people who work at the service counter know about it so just ask for a manager if they don't and everything will be fine. Never had a single problem to date.

I If the item is under $10 you get it free. If its over $10 you get $10 off. At Wally Mart I check stuff out using their scanners, and always find something that has the incorrect price, and sure enough at the cash I get $10 off.
