Crappy tire find. 1600 rounds CCI Ammo can

I just came back from Cdn Tire and noticed they've started to carry Remington Bucket o' Bullets, 1400 rounds of 22lr cartridges in bulk pail for $69.99

I am away for 5 days, has anyone in the Halifax/ Bedford area checked to see if the cci containers are in our ctc. Also does the ammo box that the cci come in have a padlock hole or a way to lock it? Thanks

Just called the Bedford store myself, and of course,none in stock, as with the sks svt-40 and ammo. They are showing it coming in april 13th,,,,,,,wait for it,,,,,,,,2021 !!!??

There's a rimfire shortage? Someone must have forgot to tell cabelas. Picked up a 2200 round/ammo can deal there and there were LOTS left. And shelves full of ammo of all sorts. Same at local canadian tire and Walmart. There's always .22 to be found here

:agree: picked up 2 ammo cans on Saturday for $94.99 each, 4 x 525 Federal Champion. They must sell a 100 of these a week at the Edmonton store. Plus all the other types and brands.

well to be fair the ct in yarmouth has a hole gun section, svt 40, sks, ect new rifle and pretty good ammo section with ammo for sks and svt 40 mfs, and they got reloading supply's ect,

Thanks, our store does not carry it but I will ask them tomorrow to bring a couple of boxes in......If they can still get it!
 
So, I say to myself, they never have this kind of stuff at CT in Burnaby.
And yet I punch this code in the search box: 75-1614-6
To my surprise the closest CT to my place shows them in stock (no other within 16km)
I say to myself: it must be a computer error (again)
But I have nothing else to do and I haul myself to 2830 Bentall Street, Vancouver.
Nothing on display. Yet the customer service lady says: we show 3 in stock.
Long story short, now they only have 2 left :D

I will go pick some up today.

I like the ammo can as I have a number of those already for my ammo hording.

Legion, check out the Grandview CDN Tire (I believe the biggest in BC).

Upstairs they have emptied out the area directly in front of the escalator and have a sign saying "Hunting and Fishing Pro Shop Coming Soon".

They have some racks being built that appear like rifles would fit nicely in there :cool:

1000 rounds Federal .223 for 399.99 with an ammo can

I think the ammo sites need to rethink their markups. With shipping it does not make sense to buy from them when crappy tire has the same or better ammo for cheaper.

It only says CCI 22 Long Rifle Hollow Point 40 Grain Ammunition

the CCI Mini-Mag Hollow Point (only information the bucket of 1600 says) are 36gr, not 40

I don't want to order the wrong thing, especially not for a 260$ purchase that I have to pay in advance for haha

Crap. I was in Yarmouth on Mil business back in Feb with time to kill and all I did was hang out at the local Boston Pizza. I'll hit the CT if I'm ever back there.

I recently drove from Halifax to Sydney on family business and I stopped at every Canadian Tire and every WalMart between Truro and Sydney. Not one Canadian Tire had any .22 LR bulk worth buying. I ended up buying 9 bulk boxes (500 round boxes) of Winchester DynaPoint at spread out over no less than 4 different WallMarts. I even left some on the shelves when I left a couple of stores. I was buying for myself and a shooting buddy and this stuff can be hard to find in Halifax.
