Crate of Lee Enfield's drug up off the coast of Nova Scotia!!!!!

Just went back and checked the thread. The original poster hadn't said anything just posted a pic. He has since commented that he found them 7-8 years ago. He stated he drug them up in the old ammo dump off of Cape Breton. Whatever that means. He states they are now on display at the Halifax Maritime Museum. I think it's really called the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic.
So old news. But still cool if you haven't heard about it

I think these are more likely located in the Army Museum at the Halifax Citadel. It's been a while since I was in there so I'm not 100% sure about that. Regardless, if any CGN members should vacation in the Halifax area the Army Museum is a delight to visit. If you live nearby, and have never been, the next time you drop your wife off to shop go over and plan to spend lots of time. There is even a Gatling gun. I highly recommend it.

dads been fishing for around 40 years. we are in Point Aconi Cape Breton. he knows people who have dragged up torpedos and the spikey chained boat/sub mines. the charts off shore show a no go zone where we cant fish or drag. while i am suspicious that wood lived that long there is a dump ground off brasdor/lingan that ive seen.

Looking at the crate there appears to be a metal liner possibly copper. That would have been toxic to worms and preserved the wood.
