Crate of SKSs

MMMOOOOUUUUUAAAAAAHHHHHHH!

You made some pretty nice dream my friend.

BeaverMeat is completely wright, NOW "IT'S THE BOTTOM OF THE BARREL"!

Speculation is really cheap. I picked up a museum quality non-refurb M38 less than a year ago... When there was no more to be had, they said. Its real, not a dream, not speculation, and not market predictions.

"Its a Dream" they said....

Perhaps for now. There will be little warehouses and old mine discoveries full of rifles for the next 100 years. If there is a market for them, they will be sold. It seemed like it was the end of M44s and M38s, but all of a sudden there was more, and still is.

and Yes, there was some sweet looking rifles from that batch :)

Yes but most of the SKS's that might be available made their way to the hot climates, and look worse than the latest that have arrived here. Any to be had will be rusty beaters at best. The Chinese still have tons but their prices are sky high, and unless they lower the price we won't be seeing them any time soon either.

Yes, But.....

The reality over your speculation is that they are still coming in, and some very nice batches at that.
I have no doubts that they will slow down at some point, but it seems that the louder you guys spread your rumors and speculation, the better higher quality of rifles are showing up to spite you. I've looked at several fresh batches of rifles coming in lately, they are pretty darn good so far.

The sky is not falling yet, I'm sure it will, but you guys look like dummies in the mean time.

I would like to purchase multiple sks but don't want to pay tax and no paper work

Well if you're legally allowed to own a gun in Canada and don't want to pay taxes then I suggest you start legally buying from people that are selling theirs.

I'm not trying to say you're not a PAL holder, just the way you phrased that statement comes off a little strange.

Then I and others would like to see these supposed "Fresh Batches" of good looking SKS's because I have only seen the heavily refurbed, BBQ finished ones that have been selling lately, that were from the big batch gotten from Germany. Have heard of no others lately coming in. If you have a source, please share, it would be appreciated...

I'm up to 4 crates stashed in my basement. And I've actually got my wife convinced that I'm buying all the guns and ammo because they will go up in value. If she ever found out I'm just preparing for the inevitable zombie apocalypse she'd probably think I'm bat #### crazy and call some kind of hotline on me.

You are right, he did come out kind of scary.... Is he one on those "brothers" who is going to scream Allah Ahbar and try to set up the Sharaia law here? Hmmmm......let's keep an eye on this guy!

CTC in Moncton had a sale a couple weeks ago $169 for sks looked good but stocks seemed to have a bunch of really thick dried up Cosmo , no prob just anothe 20 minutes or so to clean up! I would think $150 or less would be a good # depending on condition. Buying from Alberta or BC will save hundreds in tax, if you can keep the shipping cost down!
I haven't bought a crate full yet but will, when the price and condition is right!
Edit update so far I have found the Gun Dealer in NB will sell a crate for $2249.85@ 15 rifles = $149.99 per!

Almost Troll like I'd say. Or maybe a sleeper for ISIS.

HA! I remember back in the early 90's buying a crate of sks D rifles from lever , with a case of norc silver box ammo for each rifle for WELL under 2000 grand ..... it might of been 1500 ish all in.
my times have changed and I long for the good ol days

With all the gun sales that went on for Black Friday and December, looks like SKS's made their way onto a lot of lists.
I tried ordering 10 from a couple dealers, but didnt make the check out in time on some of them

That being said, any leads on who has the best prices these days for SKSs? Ideally an AB company with only 5% tax would be nice!
