Just returned from 3 months of surfing and kite surfing.....hey someones gotta do it!!!!
I just got of the phone with my #1 customer and friend.....just before I left in Nov, I finished a full reproduction build of a smith Crazy horse.
All but the reciever and trigger group are as issued by Smith.
Tac release, special gas system, hard chrome piston, barrel, vortex, smith mount, rings, Leupold M3 3.5 x 10. Using Norma Match .308
Over the phone it was reported to me that within the first 80 shots he was able to achieve 1.5 inches at 300 M, 5 shots.
This rifle was mounted in almost NEW GI FG stock that I loaned him, painted by SKBY (this is of course why it is so accurate
) with a rooster cheek piece.
The only other change expected is a full CH trigger mod
I just wanted to share with you guys.....the CH system works!!!!
Is it worth the $$$$$$$......only if you want a tack driver.......the groups will only get better, I might skim bed the stock.......will keep you guys updated.
I plan on shooting this thing before I head out of town again in 3 weeks.
