crazy idea?

I just had a potentially stupid idea, but what the hell... I seen the alberta tactical .308 coyote gun, and really thought the left hand eject was cool.... I'm wondering how hard it would be to change a left hand action into a right hand? basically put a right hand bolt into a left hand action, thus achieving that one off, custom look.... would this be possible with a Remingtom M700 left hand action? (I dont have an M700 to look at).... if not, is there a left hand action out there that would be do-able? of course at this stage its all a hypothetical custom one off build.

lots of custom actions have the option of left eject right bolt, left bolt right eject, etc etc and so on..

or are you asking specifically doing it with a factory action? cuz that would probablyt cust as much as an aftermarket action itself

Yep.

I have a LRPV duel port. Once your used to a left port action its hard to shoot a right port.

Thanks guys.... never seen them... guys my "idea" wasn't that far out there after all. if i get bored this winter, i may present my local 'smith with the challange. maybe get him to build an alberta tactical type .308 clone for me, with a magazine.... i can see it now, 600.00 to start, heavy bbl 400.00, magazine stuff 300.00, misc stuff 400.00, optics 1200.00.... yikes.
