Crimp on .308 HPBT match bullets?

no x2...........I also try to stick to match bullets without the conelure...if I need one I can add it later, but I can't buff it out if its already there

Yes. Found it made a significant difference in a Win Model 70 I used to own when I reloaded with non-match dies. Takes a while to get the knack of using the technique effectively though (ie uniforming tension and not over-crimping)

Yes, though my crimp is light and probably more akin to Ganderite's playing with neck tension. I found it to be beneficial in my 77gr SMK loads for my AR. Not huge, but wouldn't go back.

When neck sizing for bolt guns, I don't crimp, just rely on the sizing disc.

No. But I do experiment with a lot of neck tension vs. light neck tension. Seems to make a big difference.

I've only played with neck tension on 308 target rifle and found no noticable difference, so I keep it very light.... but it's only 1 rifle i'm sure it would make a difference in others.
