Crimping Hornady 30-30 - with FTX

Hi There

I have a question about crimping Hornady FTX 160gr Bullets. I just loaded some of these FTX bullets to Hornady specs as published seating the bullets to the Max COL. They look good, do I need to crimp these? I do have a 30-30 lee Factory Crimp die, will this work? If so what will this do for me?

Sorry about the basic questions I have just loaded a few different calibres and bullets, just trying to build my knowledge up......

it's a good idea to crimp any ammunition intended for use in a tubular magazine. i am assuming you are loading for a winchester 94 or marlin 336 right?

Yes you should crimp with your Lee factory crimp die.
