Where does a guy get his mitts on some crimson trace grips for a 226 ?

Give P&D a call. The are a dealer in Crimson Trace. Green laser is what I would get. But...be aware that green lasers are hard on batteries.

Canadian prices on these tend to be nuts. I recommend buying from an american shop with a good rating on ebay. Do not buy from hong kong! Real ones will be in the two's, fakes will be around 60 bucks last time I checked.

Edit note: I have not checked recently in canada but this was my experience about 2 years ago.

i've bought from them in the past. Monte, the owner is very good to deal with.

I never had too much luck with Crimson Trace grips. I've owned about 5 of them and ended up selling them all.
I had one for a 226 that had to go back to the factory for repair, two that didn't seem to hold zero.
