Criterion Barrels for M1 Garand builds; Canadian Source?

Any sources for Criterion barrels here in Canada?

Some of you M1 Garand owners/builders might have a lead on a .308 Winnie barrel here in Canada...

I've been asking the same sorts of questions in the M1 Build thread... no such luck.

If people are finding them, they are being very hush-hush about it.
 
If everything gonna work out, there is a big shipment will be coming in within 6-8 weeks. Within 3 weeks there will be more nos SA barrels are coming.
 
I got one in the white from Nick at Vulcan. This is not the first time I've mentioned it in the Garand threads, no hush hush about it here.

ha ha ha Seems to me that they are all sold out , but strangely enough they do have a Criterion M14/M1A 22" .308 barrel that's short chambered and needs finish reaming during the installation process and it's a decent price, I think anyways ; $365 :D

I'd buy it but I really love my 18.5" shorty barrel on my Norc right now. Hmmm :evil:

I still don't understand why these retail in the U.S. for about $180 each, yet go for $350+ taxes and shipping up here.
