Like most folks on here, I’ve had good and bad scopes over the years. Some were optically bad, while others suffered from poor critical/constant eye relief. My best scopes however that I found the easiest to “get behind “ and acquire a full and focused sight picture have been my Nikon’s and Redfield revolutions. Needing a new scope for a compact hunting rifle, I started doing some research into Leupolds. I settled on a VX3i 1.75-6x32mm. What a disappointment. I had Bushnells that were easier to get behind... not happy! Anyone have a similar issue? Are the 2.5-8 or 1.5-5 any different??? I honestly expected more from this line and am in the process of looking for suitable replacement. Any suggestions on what to get? Right now I’m leaning heavily towards another Redfield Revolution.
