well I was asked if I would mind going out and shooting a problem bear. 
So I get out to the older couple's place and it seems that they have had several bears causing problems in the oat field, but the oats are harvested now and it's sort of too late. But if I wanted to I could give it a try anyways, and that if I saw any yotes, foxes, wolves, shoot them too as they are cauing trouble with the chickens and kittens.
Well that's just fine by me. So I set up in the evening with a wounded jack rabbit call and just see what shows up. (I took my 300WM for bear and 22-250 for little critters)
So after about 2 hours it's getting dark so I figure its time to pack up when I se this little shadow moving along the fenceline 22-250 time. So this little yote moves into the open field and as it goes behind a round bail I set up for it and as it clears the other side it stops and suddenly sees me too late I must say the 22-250 is a nice little round, messy.
so thats the first yote taken with that rifle, so I guess its now properly broken in.
