I am going to the local Edmonton Police Service station tomorrow to turn in some guns unwanted by a friend. These are old farm shotguns, but one is the above-mentioned Crosman CO2 revolver. Is this thing restricted?

all info welcome.

I do think you call the police and they come an collect(seize) them, they get very nervous when you bring them to the station ,and the air revolver does not require a firearm lisense nor is it restricted

So then just destroy them yourself or sell them as wall hangers or parts guns, heck take them apart and throw them in a river. But there is NO reason the police need be involved.

Paranoid much?

I'm sure a witness calling in and reporting "some man throwing guns in the river" will turn out well for the OP...

Do you still have any of the guns? I will deliver them to the police station for you

This thread hurts..... I would take unwanted beat to hell old firearms in a heartbeat and be grateful for the chance to tinker with them. I cannot fathom why anyone would think taking them to the police is a good idea? ...and just to guess...its a crossman .357, millions of them are around, and when I was younger I would have paid for just the cylinder to add to mine ..... The more i think about this, the more I hope this is a troll thread...

Yep. I would love to have them. Its like a dream of mine, finding a cache of old, really old, and original military, firearms.

Hey cowboy,

I hope you see theres another path than helping pad the stats on 'guns off the street' for the po-po, eh.

You got neighbours here it seems! Check a PAL, good to go.

Put them on the EE for free local pickup for someone with a pal... someone will take them and fix them, part them out, or make decorations out of them.

The CO2 pistol is not considered a restricted firearm lol.

Could also be a Crosman 38. Even a leaking one should be worth $40. Sell the guns, get your friend a case of beer, keep the rest for you.

There is a fellow here that is looking for a old shot gun for a wall hanger, and willing to pay.
had a lady at one of my shows one time that was going to turn a gun in to police, then when I said I would buy it she all of a sudden her old gun was worth 3x what it was worth.
Did not go well for eather of us.
Just post the darn things at 50.oo-100.oo shipped or what ever.
and do not ever go walking into a police station with guns in your hands, that is more stupid than turning in guns.
