I just bought a CZ 511. My eyes aren't what they used to be and I find the iron sights difficult to use. I was thinking of putting a 1x Red dot scope on it that I have kicking around. Just need an 11mm to Weaver.

But I was also considering a Crosman Copperhead Laser Sight from Canadian Tire. I already have several highly accurate rimfire hunting rifle's so I'd be using this gun mosly for plinking, and would prefer something lower magnification, and something lower cost, and not too bulky.

I don't have the laser but on a pellet pistol I recently purchaced it has a copperhead red dot sight on it (1x). Its definately not the best quality in the world - preatty much all made of plastic including the mounting system and the windage and elevation adjustments arn't great but it works. It has two brightness adjustments and it seems to work well in the day time. From what I hear the laser would not work that great in the day time on a bright day but on a darker day it would probably work fine.

I would probably get the red dot over the laser sight. At a further distance it would probably also be really hard to see the beam on the target...

Using something made by crosman from crappytire probably isnt your best bet to accessorize your real guns. I think those lazers are more geared towards pelet rifles and pistols. A red dot site would be a great idea for your .22 if you dont want to use your irons.
