Let alone the fact it would be restricted, there are tons of better choices in .177" PCP's for far less than the $650 price tag they are asking.

From what I have seen nothing else on the market lets me shoot my AR in my basement. I want it as a training aid for service rifle.
I doubt the MAR177 would be classed as a firearm as it needs the lower receiver (the part of the AR that is registered) to function.
They looked like a very nice accessory when I saw them in use at the Crosman Field Target shoot last month.
