So I got out today for my first time of hunting, really enjoyed it had a couple deer come by my tree stand but decided they were to far and to many trees in the way so I didnt take the shot. Only later to find out when trying to un-#### my bow that the trigger wont release the bow, safety is off. Tried with both an arrow loaded in and empty, nothing works, now I have the trigger mech semi lifted out and the bow sorta half cocked. I paid good money for this bow and now im really upset, can someone reccomend a good place around brampton ontario to take it to get it fixed, or a method to uncock it?

I tried both with the bolt in and out and now the trigger mech is up and semi out sitting half way down the shaft caught on the trigger (think I made a simple problem complexed) and I believe its the parker enforcer X3000 160 lb draw weight
I think i realized my major mess up, we didnt reset the trigger after trying to dry fire it to uncock it, now I have my trigger out of its housing and half way down the shaft and its tensioned so I cant pull it back up, this is gonna be expensive

I think what he was trying to do was remove the bolt, grab the string with both hands and reach back and under with a thumb to release the trigger( I hope anyway,we all know to never dry fire your bow,xbow,gun)then slowly let the string down to rest. its what I do on my home made xbows to release the tension if simply shooting isn't an option.problem happens when the dry fire protection lever isn't depressed by a bolt @ the same time.I would recommend having a tech. look at the bow now as unlike a rifle trigger that holds back a couple pounds force xbow holds back the draw weight of the bow.
You tried to DRY-FIRE your crossbow.
Didn't you get an owners manual with it...or some newbie training?
Yes I know not to dry fire the bow, wasn't what I was trying to do, I was trying to reset it after hunting by using the cocking aid to hold the slack and fire it off, and slowly let down the tension, unfortunately now I have just messed everything right up and will for sure need a tech to look at it and fix it. And I got the bow at saugeen shafts in peterborough, would go back there just im in brampton for the next week
