Hey guys, I recently purchased my first rifle. A .17HMR with a BSA sweet 17 scope. It was mounted and bore sighted at the store. (P&D in ed.) I didn't realize in the store but now that i have it home it appears that the crosshairs are not square.(not level) Its not real bad, just enough to bother me i guess. Its hard to tell if the scope just needs to be turned slightly or if it is a poor scope and the crosshairs are just off. Does this happen? If it is that the scope just needs to be turned a bit, is this something(having never mounted a scope) I could just do myself. ie. loosen the screws, turn it, and tighten them again. or something i should have done by someone withe experience? Thanks for your advice!
