Crossing the US border with reloading gear, AOK?

I tried to run a search to no avail, so hopefully one of you kind gents can set me straight.


Will I have any trouble with customs if I bring back some reloading gear? Specifically, a reloading kit + dies...


And and I read long while ago that there is a $100 limit on gun stuff that we can import, is that true? does that include reloading gear?

Reloading tooling is not restricted. On the other hand, an export permit is required to take reloading components out of the USA.

 

[Fusilier]

Reloading kit, tools, dies, presses, measuring tools, scales, powder measures are all good for export from the US without restriction.

Do not get caught with even one single brass casing, projectile, primer or any powder though.
