Picked one up, wholesale in g.p brought one in from their nanaimo store for me.

I got mine from wallyworld in gp. Went out to see if i could get a grouse and I gotta say nothin smaller than my 22lr is gonna be with from now on. Even the 22 pellets just maim animals. I shot one in the neck and had to chase it around the bush.

whats a good online resource for customizing and tuning up your 2240s? I want to learn how to take it apart and install a longer barrel, and maybe tune up that CO2 valve.

EDIT: did some internet sleuthing all by myself. Found this, answered my own question. Gold star.

Leaky seals are common so I don't recommend used. I am on my 3rd one in 10 years

The seals are dirt cheap and easy to change, you can even make your own. A drop of oil on every second cartridge prevents a lot of wear.

I use air tool oil, a one litre jug goes a long way

2240 with 10". 177 barrel, brass breach and assorted brass parts, home made target grips, cylinder work, reduced hammer spring to keep it under 500fps. I get 130 shots out of a co2 cartridge. Great for basement target shooting.

Thanks. Gun came from scopes and ammo..177 barrel came off a 1377 I turned into a rifle. Brass bits came from GMAC in the UK. Grips were home made from $3 worth of oak trim from Home Depot and a lot of time with a dremel. Safety was made from a brass screw I found in my junk drawer.
