Nice WB! I have seen two like yours, one 460, and a 340 ,both lefthander's.
I was lucky enough to pick up a Jap 378 Deluxe this winter , just started to get it all together, what a nice shooting rifle with manageable recoil!
Cheers on your new purchase!

Congrats on your find and, after your lengthy and successful search, I know how you feel. I had a similar search and finally the acquisition of a long sot after Schultz & Larsen in 358 Norma Magnum.:). Good on you;) and enjoy.

I have seen a rifle almost like that one, but in 300wby. However, the other rifle had a two piece stock, after the owner tripped and fell on it. I have never seen a man come that close to crying over a rifle. Apparently at that time, which was in the late 90s, he had paid around $5000 for the rifle.

Cabelas south Edmonton has one - looked at it today. I cant tell from the op picture, but the one in Edmonton has the barrel heavily engraved aswell. The diamond inlays don't do it for me, but they do look "custom" and whatever floats your boat.

Goble's had (maybe sill does) a new one in .257.... the +$8000 price tag is *ahem* steep.
