Crown land in the Lower Mainland

Does anyone know if you can legally shoot west of Stave Lake off Burma Street around Devils Lake??
Looking for a place to shoot at this coming Sunday.

I've been looking into this issue lately as I live in that immediate area. Target practice shooting is banned in the district of Mission with the only exception being the rod and gun club range. So that means you have to drive north on Burma and Florence Lake Road until you are past the narrows of Allouette Lake, in the Florence Lake area.

So where does the Municipal District ends on the northern side of Mission?? I know there's a childrens ranch around the area. Also heard people shooting by Sayres Lake which is just north of the ranch. I was out there this summer fishing Allouette lake next to Pine lake and heard gunshots coming from everywhere.

Shotshells all over the place = stinky rear-oriented orfices, not hunters.

A hunter up the Squamish river road might see a grouse and leave an empty or two, not boxes of them.

Went up to Sylvester Rd today and what a sad sight to see. Garbage everywhere!!! Drove up 9kms from the gravel road and found some decent areas to shoot at. Picked up all of our garbage after we were done.

I live in lions bay and, it being quite densely wooded and hilly there's only a few places to shoot, all of which require at least an hour's hike and don't allow more than ~70m of shooting. And apparently I'm not squamish enough to belong to the Squamish Valley Rod and Gun Club, so, except for the valley road, is there anywhere else along the sea-to-sky good for rifle shooting?

btw never move to Lions Bay if you're a shooter, you're not allowed in the Squamish gun club and the next nearest rifle range is an hour's drive away

17 KM Marker, when you go that far up, you'll see a clearing with a steel yellow gate (heads down to a cabin you can rent) you are all good once you reach there.

A buddy of mine said a guy from his work took him up behind Furry Creek on some gravel road until they hit crown land. Said they spent a few hours shooting 12 gauge , and SKS's. not exactly sure where, but he said right near Furry Creek.
