OK so when I look at a freshly redone crown (slight angle, don't know how many degrees), should I see a round hole or should I see the grooves wider?
Seems as though some metal was pushed back into the grooves right at the exit, I can feel a ridge (really small, couple thou) when I run a dental pick from in-to-out of the barrel. The hole looks pretty and round, no doubt about that. It's not gonna stop a bullet, and I'm gonna pull the trigger on it tomorrow, just wondering whether I am seeing what is to be expected. I suppose in 10 rounds that small ridge might even be gone??
