Hey all,

As the title states, I am looking at yet another scope purchase, but I'm in some unfamiliar territory.

I'm looking to put some optics on my T1x which will very shortly be sitting in a KRG Bravo, and shortly after that proudly wearing and IBI barrel. The goal of this rifle is CRPS/Rimfire PRS/PRS Trainer, so I'm a little unsure of what the best "bang for your buck" optic I can put on it. I had originally decided on ordering a Vortex Diamondback Tactical, however my budget has increased, so I am revisiting that decision.

So to the guys in the know I ask your advice/opinion - What would be your CRPS/Rimfire PRS/PRS Trainer Scope choice with a budget of $1000?

As always, thanks in advance for any and all help.

Used Vortex PST off the EE, I have 2 of them, no problems and work great. I've seen a few of the diamond backs and they looked a bit cloudy to me at 100. plus they don't zero stop or have 'rising' turrets when you spin them.

I'd have a look at the Athlon Midas Tac series of optics. Good bang for your buck for that budget

I have also looked through a bunch of Athon scopes at CPRS events and can say that for the price range they have the next best reticle to the ERB-C2 south of paying for something with an H59. $$$$$$ for even cheaper I'm a fan of Nikon glass (even though I shoot Canon camera gear) but the reticle they put in there just isn't there for me. I bet they would have knocked it out of the park if they just paid for the H59 in their 'black series' scopes.

you honestly just need to try and look through as much as possible! Get out the the CPRS or Outlaw events, EVERYONE will give you a short run down of their rig and probably let you look through their glass.

Midas TAC 34mm 5-25X56.... pair with a set of Burris XTR Sig rings. Just a bit higher then your budget BUT will cover all the needs of this game.

And you are going to need a bucket load of UP....

Send me a pm or email and I can get you set up with a package.
