Probably 100 rounds through mine today first time out. 1 FTF and probably half a dozen times where the bolt didn't lock back on last round, this is with stock mags

Had my rifle not hold the bolt back a few times when I had it out. Just out of spite I pulled the bolt out and sprayed the absolute sh*t out of it and the inside of the upper and she ran perfect after that.

First thing I would try is Oiling the heck out of the BCG and the internals of the upper. Would then pull the hand guard and check the alignment of the gas block.

Heres mine

Barrel: Faxon Firearms, 20.0” Gunner Series
Handguard: Bravo Company USA, Gunfighter MCMR-15 Alpha Handguard, M-Lok
Flash Hider: Smith Enterprise Vortex
Light: Streamlight Protac
Backup sights: ARMS
Selector: BCM Ambi selector
Charging handle: Radian Weapons Raptor LT Ambi
Optic: Aimpoint CompM5 (for now)

everything else is just whatever milspec stuff I had laying around. Total weight is a hair over 7lbs
Where did you get your gunner from? Can’t find anywhere with one in stock

Looks like a decent BCG and barrel are the hardest things to source - they're available but extremely expensive. Anyone have any recommendations for reliable options without breaking the bank?

Aero, Faxon or Ballistic advantage, $239 - $269 and these things ain't going to let you down.. Check out RDSC

https://www.rdsc.ca/semi-auto-rifle-parts/bolt-carrier-groups.html?p=3

Barrel wise I would go with the 18.6 Ballistic Advantage Hansen Pro series $359 thru SaskatoonGunWorks. Comes with Lo Pro Gas block

https://www.saskatoongunworks.com/ballistic-advantage/556-nato-barrels/

If neither of those appeal to you I have a Shield Works MwMatch Mod2 SR556 and a S&J KAC style dimple barrel both for sale. PM for info.

Nice rig. Should be a pretty capable setup. Curious to hear how that BA barrel shoots.

Nice builds in here. Waiting for the FRT number to buy mine. Can't risk having my first AR style rifle prohibited
Hey new guy, there's an entire thread of people arguing about this already. In case you missed that, having an FRT or not has zero effect on whether a firearm ends up prohib. Maybe leave this thread for the technical side of things and not pollute it as well?

mjbonne, nice looking rifle. Let us know how it runs when you get the time to do some more shooting and have it all sorted.
