Crypto or Raven

Actually yes, I think my chances of ending up in court are much lower with a firearm that has an NR FRT than one with no FRT.
Well that’s your problem then if you’re worried.Do you have either of these rifles?.

Just to show I don't always disagree with you, this I agree with.

Having an FRT is no guarantee of future classification, but it is a statement from the horsemen on the rifle's legal status at this moment. That is a big deal if you have a negative interaction with LEO and end up with a rifle seized because they didn't know what to do with it. With the FRT it is most likely you will get your gun back in short order. If they decide to send it in for a determination of classification you will likely never see it again and may end up facing charges if it comes back as prohib (which seems at least 50/50 the way the firearms lab operates).

I'm not even worried about a police interaction with the gun. I'm concerned about being stuck with another expensive paperweight. I've got enough of those already and I'm not rich enough to keep growing that collection.

In that case the FRT does no good at all. How many guns on the 2020 OIC list had FRT's? They can all be prohib by fiat in seconds if the Libs want, FRT or not. That is just the sad situation we are in.

I understand the expensive paperweight problem, they are taking up far too much space in the safe for no (legal) return on that investment.

Hey, I got everything except the ejection port cover. Do you think the Raven cover would fit? Lol

No it won’t. It’ll have amnesty. Micro Tavor were banned because they were converted automatics. If Crypto safe it will probably be because it doesn’t accept STANAG.
Its literally the only string of hope. While its most likely not on the list because it dosent have an frt. like the templar

FRT "variant" bans are sure to follow in the coming days as well.
Just like last time.

So don't get too excited if a certain rifle is not listed by name.
It doesn't need to be.
