csa .223 firing pin

I broke mine while wolverine was still the importer. Had one sent out and tried to install, ended up it was a firing pin meant for a 7.62 rifle, as it did not fit. Wolverine offered to try to track down a legit 5.56 firing pin but I just spent $25 to have a local smith machine it to fit. approx. 1300 rds later and no more issues. Just to give you the heads up that a 5.56 specific firing pin may be difficult to find...

Are spares for this part going to be made available? I'd like to have one kicking around to use as a backup. I have some 7.62 firing pins. What diameter did you have to turn them down to? Might be handy to know if it ever happens again.

Thanks,

Ben

I bought a complete set of internal parts from Wolverine. I will post the list of parts included in that kit as soon as I receive it. There should be a firing pin in there but I don't know if it will fit a 7.62 or a .223

I had the same issue and contacted North Sylva. They told me that they were aware of the issue and were in testing phase with CSA and replacements should hit our shores at the end of May. Spares will be available for $9, and will also be covered under the five year warranty.

Yes, I would like to get a couple of spare firing pin and extractor. The 223 parts seem more difficult to get
