Howdy. Anybody have a CSA Vz.58 7.5" Sporter model? What's the reliablity like?
Thinking of getting one for myself as a New Years/Early birthday present. I'm hoping to get a .223 model.
Also, if I remember correctly, Wolverine was selling a magazine adapter for these to take AR mags, right- or wrong?

I LOVE my shorty. Very reliable but im also shooting the 7.62x39 cant really comment on the. 223. Although O assume the are both the exact same in terms of reliability.

Really like mine. Took it out with a few other shorties this past weekend - helluva noise and muzzle flash compared to the others. The brake completely eliminates recoil.

Yes, with an older gen swiss cqb rounding out the trio

Actually, shooting the three side by side highlighted my preference for some manner of red dot for cqb type rifles. Gotta grab a bc tactical mount and throw another micro on her

My ears kinda rang throuh my earmuffs and the fireball was immense. So in a word, awesome.

Truthfully, i am considering a different muzzlebrake such as an xb-1 as the blast is a bit much. The factory brake is very effective at reducing recoil but the blast is huge

I shot my compact with a muzzle break at an indoor range and it was intense to say the least! I felt like I had been punched out the next day..

i had the same blast experience with my 7.5 inch ar shorty, and 11.8 inch vz indoors. Outdoors the 11.8 was no problem with ear plugs.

I just ordered a 7.5 so first thing first, gonna get a flaming pig for it.

I've seen people with tiny rails for vertical grips. Where did those come from, and do they work well? Figured out where they come from by using the science of reading

Also, I don't know when we all decided that the magwell adapters were 7.62 only. My buddy's been using one on his .223 unit with 10 round LAR mags

CSA is working a metal mag well adapter right now anyway for the 5.56. Those rails like I posted in my thread, are from Fab Defense

First- I believe it is CobraGT who posted pics of a rail underneath the front sight for a vert grip. Its a .22 weaver rail that he modded for himself. Neat idea but I like my vert finger grip better

Second- when the hell did I say that they were only for .223???? Buddy didnt know what he is talking about and noone corrected him on the first pg. Dont worry aboutr that

Yeah I don't know why anyone called that as BS right off the top.

Personally I think a LAR mag with a ranger plate inside of the CSA adapter would be a ton of fun.

Now if only I could backpack with it :(

I am not sure who posted original rail, be nice to know so I can ask what he is running, but I will msg CobraGT to check with him.
