CSA side mount rail mounting Problems?

Has anyone had any problems mounting the base for their QD side mount?

the rail looks like this

and here is my problem

it looks like the rail is a bit too wide, i spent a few hours filing the top and bottom and still having problems with it.

One of the two is out of spec, I hope the rail.

i have a caliper, what are the measurements supposed to be for the rail and the receiver?

My bet it is the rail out of spec.

i noticed one side of the rail fits in fine, the other side it looks like its a hundreds of an inch too wide so it wont fit in. ive been at it with a file for a good 2-3 hours and now and little progress :S, al flaretys doesnt have anymore in stock.....

Keep filing..... Or buy a dremel and a course sanding drum, or a carbide milling bit. One of the handiest tools on the planet.

my buddy has a vz58 as well, ill check with his just to make sure its not my reciever. i have a dremel with course sanding drum, i also have a grinding stone if that will work?

Mine fit no problems. I would do all filing/sanding by hand. Way less chance of taking too much off.

Did you ever figure out if it was the receiver or the rail that was out of spec?
