How does it allow more capacity? Forgive me if my brain is farting... Are STANAG mags pistol mags?
CSA stock mags are pinned to 5rds, where the Adapter allows you to run AR15 mags which most are limited to 5 rds, But LAR15, XCR etc are limited to 10rds because theyre "for pistol" thus manafactured to fit pistol and lovely loopholes.. So would you rather have 5 rds or ability to run 10rd mags?

Ain't a secret. Posted even on the RCMP website, They even explain how you can run different mags with different caliber to get more rounds out of it. But dunno about you, I rather use 10rd mags and look goofy, then run 5 rd pinned mags because they look cool.

To think I almost bought a CX4 for this very reason... "Nah I gotta get the Vz cause its the one I really want and if I don't I know I'll regret it" I figured. Now I find out that I can have 10 rounds in a VZ??? Thats fricken

STANAG mags are NATO STANdard AGreement mags... Basically those that fit M4s, ARs and the like. As such, a VZ using the AR adapter could run LAR pistol mags or better yet, .50 Beowulf 5/10 mags.

I think it is. I have a magwell for the 5.56 Vz 58. If you get a 5.56 Vz58, just trade me the original magazines and you can have it with a 10rd Lar-15 magazine. Were both on Vancouver Island.

The Canadian made .50 Beowulf magazines don't work for it. The aluminum American made ones do though.

Not sure.... I wonder if the 7.62x39 XCR pistol mags would fit and function in the AR mag adapter in a 7.62x39 Vz... Anyone tried this??
